snap-top constricted neck glass
ampoule contains spores of
Geobacillus stearothermophilus
suspended in a specially formulated
culture medium that turns a dramatic
yellow when the spores grow. The
ampoule is so designed to sink to the
bottom of large containers for the
most effective validation of the

Bacillus subtilis “5230” as the spore
species. The D-values are given for

CoA. It turns a dramatic yellow when

DriAmp is a Biological Indicator
ideally used for high temperature
applications where normal spore
strip indicators cannot be used. The
spores are inoculated on silica
powder placed in a snap-top
constricted neck ampoule. It comes
